Fabrication Questions

The frequently asked Questions by majority of our clients are on our window frames and they are as follows:

What situations might affect the sliding mechanism overtime?

Answer: Having Mortar stuck on the rails during the building process as most of our products are purchased during this period. Sliding the window frame on dry mortar damages the rollers and lessens the smoothness of the sliding mechanism. Possible solution: Mortar from plastering must be cleaned up before it dries. Another way is to cover up the bottom part of the window to protect the Rails.

Do they allow water into the house?

Answer; This was a major Challenge with the old version of steel sliding window frames .Our company works with the newer version which involves placement of a rail which is covered by a tube that covers the rollers as well. These new modifications to the initial version allows for water to fall freely.

Can the rollers be replaced

Answer : Yes they can . Our rollers are easily replaced as long as you understand how to use a screw driver and a self-tapping screw.

Do they Jam with Time ?

Answer: The rollers do not wear out easily because of the minimal frequency with which the windows are opened .
